В 2002 году, на Цветном бульваре открылся фонтан Клоун. Расположился он в сквере, напротив Старого цирка. Тематика фонтана цирковая и представляет собой скульптуру клоуна на моноцикле. Скульптура находится в чаше, из которой постоянно бьют более ста струй, изменяющих свою длину. В руках клоуна можно наблюдать зонтик, из которого так же бьет вода. По мнению скульптура З. Церетели, данная художественная композиция создает ощущение дождя над клоуном. Стоит отметить, что посетители Старого цирка и местные жители часто накрашивают губы скульптуре клоуна, что по их мнению привносит более радостное настроение в фонтан Церетели.
